“When a man has put a limit on what he will do, he has put a limit on what he can do.” – Charles Schwab

Are you willing to do whatever it takes to be successful? If you have attended my Maverick Selling Business Builder Bootcamp or my Mindset Mastery Experience, you have experienced what I mean when I say Whatever It Takes with the exercise we do. And as always I say as long as it’s moral, legal and ethical.

Many people say yes to this without thinking of the true meaning.

What Are You Willing To Do?

Are you willing to skip your children or your spouse’s birthdays and anniversaries?

Will you get up early and stay up late creating a new life for yourself and your family?

Will you drop TV from your life?

Will you make the cold calls to find new leads?

Will you skip vacation to attend a training event to further your goals?

Will you stay in to work on moving your business forward while all your friends and family are out having a good time?

Will you ask others for money or other resources you need to succeed?

Will you make one more sales call every day?

Will you reduce your sleep time?

Will you listen to others who have succeeded already and do whatever they tell you to do without questioning why or if it’s a good idea?

If you answered ‘no’ to any of those questions, you are putting a limit on what you will accomplish. In fact, if you answered “yes, but…” to any of them you are limiting your results.

When I ask, “Are you willing to do whatever it takes?”, there is no comma at the end when you respond. Only a period when you say yes. If you add the comma, you are limiting yourself. When you limit yourself, you are unable to realize the true, full potential of what you are creating.

Successful entrepreneurs are willing to do whatever it takes when they are working toward their goals. This dedication shows your passion for achieving your result. This ability is what will draw others to you and your goal and is the trait of a leader. Leaders attract others willing to do put forth the same effort. This creates additional leverage to reach your goals faster. Like I always say, when you paint a large enough vision and act accordingly, others will line up to help you get there faster.

Many people have great ideas and big dreams for the future. What will separate the wanna-be’s from the successful is their desire to take any action necessary to create the result they want without the comma. Are you a success or a wanne-be? Will you do whatever it takes from this day forward to remove the limits on your success?

“If you genuinely want something, don’t wait for it – teach yourself to be impatient.” – Gurbaksh Chahal

Are you impatient about getting what you want? For probably the first time ever in your life, I will tell you being or creating this impatience is a good trait when used effectively.

Now typically, most of us have been told to be patient as we have grown up. I know this was challenging for me at times. I’m sure you heard the same types of sayings from your parents, family, and teachers. ‘Patience is a virtue.’ or ‘Good things come to those who wait.’ Ever heard these before or even said these yourself to someone else?

This is just one more way your mindset can affect your results. The programming you have received from others teaches you to wait to get the benefits you want. It’s being programmed into us at an early age. While this can serve another’s agenda in having you wait for a result without taking any action to make it happen, it definitely slows your results.

As an entrepreneur, teaching yourself to be impatient is a way to motivate yourself to take massive action NOW! Just think for a minute. When you have a deadline coming, does it move you faster to make sure the goal gets completed. I know I work much better against a deadline. It’s how I have always worked. When I have a short deadline, my focus is increased. I take more action steps in this smaller time frame to make sure I’m successful. The larger number of action steps in a shorter time helps me reach my goals much quicker.

Now this can also work with your team. I set aggressive deadlines with my team all the time. When I create short timelines on projects, it drives them to finish sooner. When we finish one task sooner, we are able to get to the next one earlier. Since I use my impatience to set aggressive principle targets, myself and my companies get to more opportunities faster. Getting to more opportunities adds to the overall success of my companies.

Do you want more results faster in your life? Get impatient. Take more actions now. You have a great message, service or solution to help out the world. The only thing you are doing by being patient is cheating them out of the opportunity to realize the benefits of what you offer. Use your impatience to help drive your business.

“Cut your excuses in half and double your actions around your goals.” – Robin Sharma

Do you want to fast track your success?

Are you ready to do something different to get something different in your life?

One of the fastest ways to jump start your success in all areas of your life is to take action on today’s quote.

In life there are one of two outcomes to any action – excuses or results.  When you cut your excuses in half, your results go up.  They have what is called an inverse relationship.  When one rises the other falls.

The average person comes with a list of excuses when an action is left unfinished.  Just think of some of your interactions with others when they have come up short.  They always have a reason.

When you are ready to step your game up to the next level, eliminating the excuses in your life is one of the best ways to make dramatic, noticeable improvement quickly.

The reason why dropping the excuses makes such a large difference is you now will step up your actions to ensure you accomplish the outcome desired.  You have eliminated the excuse clause in your life.  By eliminating the excuses, you create a will do attitude to drive you to find solutions to challenges when they arise.  This “how can I” viewpoint will serve you well and increase your results dramatically

Eliminating the excuses will cause you to double your actions.  It feeds this commitment perfectly since you will want to take more action to create your results to avoid the excuse monster.  When you take more actions, you will inevitably achieve more success.  When you achieve more success, the reliance on excuses goes down.  It creates a vicious success cycle which keeps feeding on itself.

Are you ready to start your own success cycle?  When you answer yes, cut the excuses in half and double the actions.  Time to get excited about the results coming to you soon!

“Success isn’t a result of spontaneous combustion. You must set yourself on fire.” – Arnold H. Glasow

Are you waiting for the one big event or sign in your life to happen which will give you success?

I was talking to a student the other day and this is exactly where they were.  This student had been studying real estate investing for a couple of years now.  They had sent out one marketing campaign and were now waiting on the calls to come in to get their first deal.  They were reluctant to do anything else right now because they knew they were going to be overwhelmed by the calls that came in and wanted to make sure they could keep up.

Now as you might have heard from some of my trainings before, I believe in taking massive action when you want to achieve a result.  Waiting for one marketing campaign to be effective was very much like waiting for spontaneous combustion to happen.  You can take one action and just wait to see if it works… and there is a much more effective route to your success.

Figure out what else you can do to add some extra fuel to increase the likelihood you will ignite your success.  This can be with additional marketing campaigns to other lists, reaching out to do joint ventures, placing ads where your target market looks for what you are selling, asking for referrals, networking, and when you want to add some real gasoline, find yourself a coach and mentor.

When you add these additional fuels or accelerants to create your success, your success will happen faster and burn hotter than taking one action and expecting your success to take it from there.  Commit to yourself to take massive action today to set yourself on fire instead of waiting for the spontaneous combustion to occur.

Many people think that they have to accept whatever life throws at them. They’ll say, “This is my fate, my destiny. I cannot change it.”

YOU CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING. Your FUTURE is YOURS to DESIGN! You always have a CHOICE.

You don’t have to suffer needlessly. Your destiny depends on you, not on external factors.

I know someone who says she just accepts what life gives her because she has done everything she can to improve it.

Guess what her lifestyle is?

She wakes up in the morning, goes to work, comes back home, relaxes, chats with people, watches TV, then goes to sleep. Next day, the same routine cycle ensues.

Huh?!? Is this what she calls “doing her best?”

She believes she has tried her best and just accepts it in her heart that this is her life.

You reap what you sow.

You just don’t sit around and wait for a million dollars to fall from the sky. You have to get off the couch, get your eyes off the TV screen, and get your mind and body to work!

When your life is not “playing out” the way you want it to be, don’t just accept it and say: “This is the life I was meant to live” or “Things will get better some day.” Don’t expect your luck to change, unless you do something about it. When something goes wrong, don’t just regard it as what is your life; rather use it as feedback. Learn your lesson, make the most of the situation, and do something to resolve the problem.

It’s not enough to think positive; you also have to act positive. In other words..

Don’t just stand (or sit) there. DO something to NOW improve YOUR LIFE!

Here are 3 reasons most successful entrepreneurs have adopted an “Act Now – Think Later” philosophy about their pursuit of trends and business opportunities. What you will find is that this approach is not as risky as it may sound!

Take Action

The ‘proactive’ entrepreneur typically regards any business opportunities that show promise as something they either act upon immediately or forget about it completely. There is no ‘middle of the road’ thinking here insofar as possibly taking action later on. They know future efforts will not offer the same advantages or benefits due to a decreasing demand or increasing competition! In addition the longer you postpone on making any decisions the less likely any decision will ever be made.

It Scores

Fast action, even without a well thought out plan, will give you a much better idea as to the promise any venture may hold. If potential is evident, it is at this time many successful entrepreneurs will begin to develop a more comprehensive plan or strategy to make the most out of the opportunity. By putting together a plan ‘after’ seeing verifiable potential, you know the effort you are investing will be worth your time.

If It Fails – Next!

By taking action immediately you can get a better feel as to whether more of your time and effort is warranted. Here again you have saved yourself much in terms of time, effort and frustration.

The potential for financial success exist in many different opportunities that present themselves to people but to turn this potential into reality requires taking action. This may be the single biggest difference between successful entrepreneurs and those who fail. It is all too common for people to hesitate when facing big decisions, which then leads to self-doubt and eventually no action being taken.

The reasoning behind the willingness for many entrepreneurs to make such quick decisions concerning business matters is thus revealed. Surprisingly, for what appears to be such a risky approach, their reasoning reveals some very logical, sound and profitable thinking.
