“Cut your excuses in half and double your actions around your goals.” – Robin Sharma

Do you want to fast track your success?

Are you ready to do something different to get something different in your life?

One of the fastest ways to jump start your success in all areas of your life is to take action on today’s quote.

In life there are one of two outcomes to any action – excuses or results. When you cut your excuses in half, your results go up. They have what is called an inverse relationship. When one rises the other falls.

The average person comes with a list of excuses when an action is left unfinished. Just think of some of your interactions with others when they have come up short. They always have a reason.

When you are ready to step your game up to the next level, eliminating the excuses in your life is one of the best ways to make dramatic, noticeable improvement quickly.

The reason why dropping the excuses makes such a large difference is you now will step up your actions to ensure you accomplish the outcome desired. You have eliminated the excuse clause in your life. By eliminating the excuses, you create a will do attitude to drive you to find solutions to challenges when they arise. This “how can I” viewpoint will serve you well and increase your results dramatically.

Eliminating the excuses will cause you to double your actions. It feeds this commitment perfectly since you will want to take more action to create your results to avoid the excuse monster. When you take more actions, you will inevitably achieve more success. When you achieve more success, the reliance on excuses goes down. It creates a vicious success cycle which keeps feeding on itself.

Are you ready to start your own success cycle? When you answer yes, cut the excuses in half and double the actions. Time to get excited about the results coming to you soon!

“We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort.” – Jesse Owens

Have you taken the next step with your dreams? Most never do. They always lack at least one of the four components Jesse lists which holds them back from ever achieving their dreams.

Often, people will go in spurts with these four key traits for success. The determination to succeed comes and goes. When they are irritated enough by their current circumstances, they are determined to make a change… until this feeling lessens some.

Dedication and self-discipline are extremely variable. For many, the pain of making the change is greater than the pain of staying where they are. This is the reason many people stay stuck. The dream of doing and achieving something different is a fantastic thought. In many cases, the pain of where they are now must increase to get over this hurdle.

And then we come to effort. Many times this one comes down to a lack of confidence in knowing what truly to do next to create the success they want. This is one reason I coach and train entrepreneurs worldwide. I want to make sure others who do want to achieve their dreams have access to the help to get them there.

When you look at most successful entrepreneurs, there is a strong inner drive which powers these four traits. The inner drive brings these four traits together is your ‘why’. When your ‘why’ is strong enough and big enough, the other traits fall in line more easily. Your ‘why’ creates and energizes the determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort to power your success train.

Take the time to find your ‘why’ now. Being clear in yours is one of the surest ways to achieve any dream.

“Some people say I have attitude – maybe I do…but I think you have to. You have to believe in yourself when no one else does – that makes you a winner right there.” – Venus Williams

Do you have the success attitude? It’s the one Venus is referring to in her quote. The success attitude is the confidence in yourself to know you will create and succeed. Is this your typical way of looking at and living your life?

One of the biggest misconceptions people have is that you must be humble to succeed. Look at what Donald Trump is accomplished in the political arena. Whether you agree with his opinions or not, he has become the President of the United States of America. A great part of this is due to his confidence. He is willing to say and act on what most would never even consider.

His confidence is part of his appeal. He has a strong opinion which is what many others lack. Because of this strong opinion and passion for what he believes, others follow him.

This has been a shock to the U.S. media and many politicians who feel you must look to satisfy everyone and offend no one to be successful in this arena. It’s actually refreshing to see someone passionately believe and express their thoughts – whether you agree with them or not. Debate of thought is helpful for all willing to listen and learn. If all of our leaders would do this, we would have the country we all want.

The important piece to remember is this kind of confidence creates the success both Venus and Donald have in their lives. They have believed in themselves whenever no one else did. Having a strong self-image carries you through challenging times when others stop or quit their journey. This confidence creates the wins in your life through your dedication and perseverance.

The desire for unending confidence is one reason I recommend all my students do their Daily Dynamic Declarations. These affirmations are intended to program you in a positive way to instill more confidence. When was the last time you said yours out loud?

My recommendation, write out your Daily Dynamic Declarations. Read them at least twice each day. One time when you wake up and are getting ready for your day. This sets the perfect intention for what you want in your day. The other definite time is right before you go to bed. This programs your mind with the thoughts you want before going to sleep. Your subconscious mind then gets to work on internalizing these declarations as you sleep.

As an added bonus to fast forward the creation of your dream life, pick multiple times throughout the day to say them out loud too. Any time you want more confidence, read them out loud. Soon, you will have the confidence Venus talks about in her quote.

“The results that you are achieving are a direct reflection of the image of yourself you are holding. Improve the image and the improvement will automatically be reflected in your results.” – Sandra Gallagher

How do you view yourself?

Honestly, think about the thoughts which run through your head about you on an hourly, daily or weekly basis. Are they empowering and building you up… or are they negative?

The image you have of yourself is the foundation for everything you do in life. When your thoughts are positive, you build a strong foundation for your life. This strong foundation allows you to build a great structure to create the results you want.

Creating your strong foundation can be accomplished through Dynamic Daily Declarations. These are written statements spoken out loud about the way you see yourself or the way you are moving toward becoming. These should always be positive in tone and focused on becoming the ideal you.

These thoughts and spoken words program your mind in how you view yourself. When you tell your mind you are a particular way, your mind will make sure your actions taken are in alignment with this programming. Just like a computer, good information in (Dynamic Daily Declarations), good information out (results).

Write a list of your declarations today. Choose them to powerfully. They are the thoughts, your foundation, which your future results are built on.

Once written out, speak them out loud at least twice per day – when you get up in the morning to set your intention for the day and before you go to bed to allow these thoughts to grow overnight in your brain. To turbo-charge your results, add in multiple times throughout the day when you speak these out loud also. Every time you need a mental and emotional boost, use these declarations.

Continue to build your strong foundation to achieve the fantastic life you want. You will be happy you put the effort into this. Time to get to work now on shoring up your foundation!

“Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.” – Benjamin Franklin

Have you done either one of these lately? One of the reasons successful entrepreneurs succeed is they create their own story.

For some, they sit down and write a book which everyone loves. There are many examples of this – Jack Canfield, Robert Kiyosaki, Robert Allen, J.K.Rowling, Stephen King are some.

For others, they go out and take action to create a difference in the world. Examples of these are Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Steve Jobs, Nelson Mandela, Mohatma Gandhi to name a small few.

Either way, both groups took action to change their worlds in dramatic fashion. What are you doing to make a difference in the world you live in? Are you doing it on a large enough scale to truly impact a large number of people?

And as I often have you do, how about we step this up to the next level? Since we live in an ‘and’ world with unlimited possibilities instead of an ‘or’ world with constraints, I always say do both – write a book worth reading and do something worth writing about.

Wanting to make a larger impact is one reason I wrote my book, “The Power of Mentoring” and is the reason I am writing my next book now (stay tuned for more information on this coming in the third quarter of 2017). I wanted to reach more people than I could by personally mentoring a small group of people. I combined doing something worth writing about and writing something worth reading providing me the opportunity to make a larger impact in the world around me.

Take the time to think about what kind of legacy you want to create.

How do you want to be remembered?

What kind of impact do you want to make?

What actions will get this started now?

Time is ticking by. Let’s get busy making the world a better place!

“Remember no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

This quote by our former first lady is right on. So many times people tell me they’ve been told “You’re not good enough.” or “They are better at this than you are.” or “They told me this would never work for me.”. Have you ever had someone say this to you or overheard someone say it to another person?

Here’s an example:

You know what always happens when you start a new business. You always have tons of energy. Then, at some point, you lose your focus and your drive. The business fails because you start looking for the next better opportunity.

You or the person this comment was directed at were being programmed by the person talking to them. Any time someone uses the word “you”, your mind views it as programming your brain. Many times this is unintentional as it is the way many people speak when making generalized statements. Other times it may be the entire purpose.

What you want to be aware of is when you hear the word ‘you’ being said by someone speaking to you, think if this applies to you specifically. If it does and you are OK with what is being said, then allow it into your mind. If what is being said is not something you want embedded as part of your mindset, make sure to deflect this statement.

Why do I offer this as the action step? Your mind is a computer. It takes in all information and applies it. This means unless you decide whether the information is something you want to have as part of your mindset, it is used like you have consented to its use just like a computer program does with the information entered into it.

How do you stop the programming which is ineffective to you? One of the actions I take is simple. When I’m listening to someone talk and they say the word ‘you’ which is a programming word, I say in my head, “They mean them.”. This keeps the statement from being internalized and used by your mind.

This reframe is the perfect way to control what your mind is being programmed with throughout your day. It means you will have to consent to any thought being true before it affects you. This means you now decide what your mind uses and what is throws away as garbage.

Powerful, right. One more way to help you create the life of your dreams!

“If you genuinely want something, don’t wait for it – teach yourself to be impatient.” – Gurbaksh Chahal

Are you impatient about getting what you want? For probably the first time ever in your life, I will tell you being or creating this impatience is a good trait when used effectively.

Now typically, most of us have been told to be patient as we have grown up. I know this was challenging for me at times. I’m sure you heard the same types of sayings from your parents, family, and teachers. ‘Patience is a virtue.’ or ‘Good things come to those who wait.’ Ever heard these before or even said these yourself to someone else?

This is just one more way your mindset can affect your results. The programming you have received from others teaches you to wait to get the benefits you want. It’s being programmed into us at an early age. While this can serve another’s agenda in having you wait for a result without taking any action to make it happen, it definitely slows your results.

As an entrepreneur, teaching yourself to be impatient is a way to motivate yourself to take massive action NOW! Just think for a minute. When you have a deadline coming, does it move you faster to make sure the goal gets completed. I know I work much better against a deadline. It’s how I have always worked. When I have a short deadline, my focus is increased. I take more action steps in this smaller time frame to make sure I’m successful. The larger number of action steps in a shorter time helps me reach my goals much quicker.

Now this can also work with your team. I set aggressive deadlines with my team all the time. When I create short timelines on projects, it drives them to finish sooner. When we finish one task sooner, we are able to get to the next one earlier. Since I use my impatience to set aggressive principle targets, myself and my companies get to more opportunities faster. Getting to more opportunities adds to the overall success of my companies.

Do you want more results faster in your life? Get impatient. Take more actions now. You have a great message, service or solution to help out the world. The only thing you are doing by being patient is cheating them out of the opportunity to realize the benefits of what you offer. Use your impatience to help drive your business.

“Fast decisions produce fast results, and I want fast results – thus I decide” – Paul Finck

How quickly do you make decisions? Is it right away or is it a process in most cases? This varies in many people – except successful entrepreneurs. With successful entrepreneurs, they make their decisions quickly with only up to 30% of the available information. It’s one of the keys to their success.

Think about this – have you ever gone to McDonalds or another fast food restaurant to order something to eat? When you get up to the clerk, you stand there staring at the menu going over the options, unsure of what to eat. You keep reading down the menu over and over until you finally order something you have ordered many times before. Now the menu is relatively the same as it has ever been. Why the hesitation and indecisiveness… especially with something you are already familiar with?

Successful entrepreneurs have learned this indecisiveness like our fast food restaurant example slows down the results you get in your life and business. What’s the worst thing that could happen if you made a quick choice in the McDonalds line? You get a sandwich or salad which wasn’t your favorite meal. The purpose for most at a fast food restaurant is to get something fast and easy. If you want a high quality meal, you would be making a different choice anyway. Then why waste the extra time?

Entrepreneurs have trained their decision-making muscle to act quickly. Training yourself is all it takes to improve how quickly you choose. Practice making fast decisions. Allow yourself 30 seconds at a restaurant to make a decision. You begin to analyze information faster strengthening this much needed fast-decisions-making muscle. This will then start to carry over into the other decisions you make.

Taking tons of time to analyze and make a decision really doesn’t mean the decision will be any more correct than making the same decision faster. The faster decision does mean you have the opportunity to enjoy the result sooner or make adjustments to get the results you want earlier. Either way, you get your results faster.

Start practicing making fast decisions in your life. You will love how much faster you achieve the results you want in your life. And the added bonus is by making fast decisions, you will actually get to more opportunities to create even larger success because you have the additional time to find them.

“I push beyond my comfort zone to create more in my life.” – Paul Finck

How often do you do this in your life? Most people I meet tend to do the exact opposite. They find a comfort zone in all areas of their life – relationships, income or job, business, health, spirituality, etc. They find what they are OK with and rarely push outside of this comfort zone.

Now the challenge comes in they stay with what they are ‘OK’ with in their life. Does this sound like settling to you as much as it does to me? Why should you settle for something which is OK when there are options out there for you which would make you excited to have them in your life?

Too many people accept their comfort zone as their only option. The reasons are many. I have responsibilities I have to take acre of; I have no choice; it’s the only thing I can do right now; I need something secure. Do any of these sound familiar to you? If so, it’s time to take a deeper look at your choices.

The reason I have created a life I love so much is because I constantly step outside my current comfort zone. Most look at my life and think that would be such a fun life to live. I agree! And it all starts with my choices to continue to expand my life by taking action in areas I have never experienced.

Think about this: you want to become a millionaire, with a multi-million dollar business which provides you your financial freedom; in a loving, passionate relationship with your spouse, family and friends; enjoying great physical health; and a spiritual connection to the your world. If what you have been doing has yet to create this vision for your life, does it make sense to keep taking the same actions expecting a different result?

If you view your comfort zone as a plastic bubble around you, you only have so much space inside of it for everything you want. The only way to achieve anything larger and fit it inside your bubble is to stretch your comfort zone. When you stretch it, you can fit all the great aspects you want inside.

How much do you want to stretch your bubble? What all do you want to fit inside your awesome life? When would now be the best time to get started on expanding your comfort zone?
