When you look at the globe, you will notice that there are a lot of lines intersecting to lead you to a specific location. This is also the same if you want to get somewhere different in your life; you have to cross many borderlines to get to where you want to be.

Truth is the world is telling us lines separate more than just locations. They separate people. The sad part of it all is the lines which actually create the most impact are the invisible ones… and often, these are lines we create ourselves.
Many times, we draw a line with the intent this will protect us from the hurt, the pain, the frustrations, and the tragedies we want to forget, to not experience and to release. It’s ideal to actually avoid those who may appear to do more harm than good to you – your career, your intellect, your image, your life. Drawing the line would be the best idea at this point. It won’t help to be a part of their circle or be friends. This line is created with the idea of protecting you from negative influences in your life.

Still, as adults, we make a choice whether or not to actually go ahead and risk drawing the line. Why? Simple - it may not be these people’s fault their life turned out to be complicated or messy. The simple fact stands: life is messy – you just have to clean it up. And on top of this, they may be unaware there is a challenge… the old you don’t know what you don’t know idea. We are all complicated until we find someone who detangles these challenges. This person may just need the line erased to find the resource to help them. These lines rarely actually keep people away; they isolate you and keep your social and emotional growth stagnant.

It’s your choice – you can choose to draw lines with each person’s name written on a side keeping you apart or you can cross it. It’s all a matter of dropping the belief you may be wasting your time. After all, if someone else had decided to follow the line, you may have never learned and grown yourself in so many areas.

Today I had the opportunity to go to an awards assembly at my kids’ school. They were getting an award for being on the honor roll for this grading period. I was home so I definitely wanted to support them by showing how proud I am of the effort they put forth to achieve the grades they do.

We got to the school and were seated in the cafeteria which is where they do the awards banquet. Our children are allowed to sit with us so they came over and sat down between my wife and I. The assembly had multiple grades in attendance. It was a packed room with the students and the parents who were there. We were happy to get a seat… although I do remember the tables being a lot more roomy when I was younger.

The principal began the assembly by calling off the names of the oldest group of students to come up and receive their award. It started out the way we all would think; the students paying attention, the parents clapping for each name read and everyone enjoying the event.

As we got going, I noticed a change begin to creep into the room. The kids started talking to each other instead of being attentive. The parents began chatting to their neighbors and waving to their friends across the room. One father to the left of my wife even answered his cell phone and had a conversation right in the middle of the assembly talking in his normal voice.

The principal and her assistant would occasionally stop to ask the students to pay attention and respect the remainder of the assembly participants. This would work for the students sitting with their classmates for a couple minutes. The amazing observation I made was it barely even slowed the other half of the room with the parents and their kids sitting together.

Being in the personal development arena and a former psychology major, I tend to observe sociology experiments like this. Each time after the children quieted, they would consistently get loud again and in a shorter time. The principal had lost control of the room.

The observations were coming fast and furious at this point. One parent told the child they were sitting with to quiet down and in the next breath resumed the conversation they were having with their friend. Do you think this may have been a confusing message to their child? Do you think any parent would have listened had the principal made remarks to them about quieting down and paying attention or would they have created a scene in today’s world?

In my life and especially my coaching, one of the areas I always talk about is being congruent in your actions to match what you are saying. These parents were telling their children one thing while doing something completely different right in front of them without batting an eyelash about it. How do you think this may affect their children’s future life? What lesson are they teaching their child at this point? What about their future relationships where they commit to do something only to do whatever they want in the next breath?

Now since I study what people do even more than what they say, how do you think this affects my viewpoint of this person? Will I necessarily take them at their word in the future when they tell me something? What about if I have an opportunity to do business with them?

Now the really powerful question for you – do you act in ways which would appear incongruent with what you say or who you are? The one idea I live my life by is what would the whole world think if I had a TV camera following me every day at every moment showing everything I do? Would I be proud of what they saw? My answer is yes since I live my life in a very congruent manner. I’m the same person at home as I am when I’m out in public. I do what I say and say what I do. Come spend time with me. You will find this to be true!

This makes it easy for me to do what I do. Remember there are constantly people watching what you do… even when you least expect it. As long as you choose to live a congruent life, this is perfectly fine for you. If you are part of the crowd who practices “do as I say, not as I do”, know the consequences of your incongruency… especially when you are unaware others are watching. As far as I’m concerned, it is much easier and more enjoyable to just be congruent. You never know when the camera is rolling.

Has it happened to you? You get the same question over and over again. You answer it for each person as they ask it... all the while, thinking to yourself "I really need to get this answer out to everyone at once. I know they all want it. I should share this message with my whole network". (and then the moment passes).

Well it happened again the other day to me, so I decided to seize the moment and Take Action to get this out to you right away.

The question I get all the time is, "Paul, should I write a book?"

Have you had this thought? Or better yet, have you thought "I have some great information or an experience or some knowledge I would love to share". You want to get YOUR message out there and be heard... you just don't know where to begin.

You wonder, will 'writing a book' help me achieve my goals? Will I make money from it? Yes is the easy answer. Much more indirectly, than directly.

"You don't make money with your book; you make it because of your book." -- Brian Tracy, Best Selling Author

Now let me explain. The book creates the opportunities (more and more come to mind everyday) for you to be heard, and to attract attention, prospects, and customers everyday.

The first reason is authors are considered experts. Whether it is on a specific business topic, a hobby or a life experience, when someone takes the time to write a book, people view them as the leader in their industry, correct? They become sought out with an instant credibility just for writing the book.

Now here's an interesting chicken or the egg scenario. Are authors usually sought out because they wrote the book, or were they already being followed and the book was the next step? BOTH.

Could this be a way to position yourself? I know many people who have used this effectively including Robert Allen, Bob Proctor, Robert Kiyosaki and many more. Each of them used being an author to more firmly position themselves as experts. You too can do this. Sound good so far?

Being an author is also a great way to build your brand. Your book provides a conversation starter, especially when you use it as a business card. Think about this for a second. Someone hands you their book. Do you make sure to keep it, whether you read it all or not? This is even better than a business card since it will be kept. And just think, this is a multi-page business card relating all your ideas on a topic - much better than 3 or 4 lines no one will read or remember on a card.

The credibility you gain by being an author with a published book is also a tremendous aid in marketing. You are able to use it in many forms of advertising providing the instant "oooh" and "ahhh" we all want when making an impression. The WOW effect you want. How would you like me to show you how to do this for maximum impact?

Your book will also create differentiation in your chosen topic. How many people have written books in the area you have expertise? Even if there are a few, I will bet there are many more people with the same knowledge/interest who have never been published. Writing your own book sets you in the top 1% portion of your field.

With the differentiation and credibility your book creates, you will receive many more offers for speaking engagements, joint venture opportunities, advertising co-ops, internet joint ventures - the list goes on and on. Now if you are someone who likes speaking as I do, this will translate into higher speaking fees and increased opportunities because NOW you are a published author and obviously "more widely known".

So you want to write YOUR own BOOK and get your message out to a mass audience; You want increased credibility; You want leverage for more joint venture opportunities; and Your want respect as a leader. It is time to get the book done.

If this is YOU, stay tuned. I am finalizing a process to make all this happen easily for you... and how to include it as a FREE Bonus! Even if you don't know what you would write, what subject you would right about, or even where to begin, this specialized process can make it a reality for you.

Watch for updates as this unique process unfolds in the coming days. And if you want to ensure you receive the rest of the story, make sure to add your name and address in the Show Me the Way box on the upper right-and corner.

All the Power to You!

Business. It’s everywhere. Take a look at a shopping mall or a downtown area. You would see business ventures from big corporations to franchises and even down to small entrepreneurs. Even the things we use for our day to day life are marked with business. From soap to water to clothes; the list goes on endlessly with opportunity. Almost every one of us has a dream of starting our own business. So here are a few tips I want to point out for aspiring entrepreneurs:

1) Be creative. Find a business venture that with an unfilled or underfilled demand. This can be a totally new business that you have seen or encountered a demand for or one which is currently being served in a less than desired way. Sometimes putting a new spin on an existing idea can be just as powerful as creating a whole new field. Unleash your creative skills.

2) Choose a business which interests you or even better, one you feel a passion. You will invest a considerable amount of time in any new business so having one you love will keep you interested and have you feel more fulfilled with the long hours.

3) Keep it simple. You don’t need to rent or build a big building right away if you’re just starting your business. Costs can kill your business early. Utilities, rent and overhead will drain your resources if you don’t have a strong client base yet.

4) Tell your friends, family and network about the business you’re starting. Get the word out as much as possible to all who may be interested or know someone who might be. Marketing is the key to getting any business up and running.

5) Manage your resources wisely. Invest in what you truly need to do business. Put your resources where they matter. The bells and whistles can come after the profits.

6) Get feedback from the clients/customers. After all it’s their opinion that counts. Being a small business, you can switch up your approach and handle any challenges quickly.

Here are few more things you will need when you start a business.

Guts. You have to be confident to sell your product to other people. And a thick skin to handle any rejection.

Money. Yes, you need money to start a business. This can be your money or even better, someone else’s money. Either way you will want to manage your funds well.

Location. It doesn’t matter if it’s your garage or your kitchen. As long as it’s presentable and gets the job done, it’s a place to start. After all, those multinational companies didn’t have a building of their own or boutiques when they started

Skill. It takes skill to run a business. From balancing your checkbook to managing your people, it could be a handful if you are just starting out. If you do not have a particular skill, find someone who does to handle it for you.

Perseverance. Got turned down first? No problem. You must give it another shot. A business wouldn’t flourish if you quit early. Happens to everyone. Look at Donald Trump. Filed for bankruptcy before but he persevered and managed to get back on top

And last but not the least, luck. You frequently hear, “I was there at the right place and the right time”. This comes from taking the first step and getting into action now. The more action you take, the luckier you will get!

The bottom line is everyone can run a business. Take a stroll on a busy street in a bustling city. You will see people who sell water, food, and flowers right on the street along with the many shops. Anyone can become an entrepreneur in any number of ways. You only need an idea and the willingness to act on it. The question is, will you?

Have you ever given up on a dream because you've listened to that 'little voice' in your head that tells you that you 'can't do it' or 'what's the point?' That inner voice is the critic inside of everyone that causes many bright futures to come to a screaming halt. Just like the mommy who freaks out when little Johnny runs with a stick, your inner 'mom' worries and frets over new challenges that arise, very often creating enough doubt to make you believe you can't do it, whatever it may be.

There are times when listening to your 'gut' comes in handy, and for the most part, what is perceived as a gut reaction is simply fear of failure or rejection before the event even takes place.

How can you squelch your inner critic so that you can move on and build the business that you dream of?

There are steps you can take to transform your critic.

1.	LISTEN to your inner voice and make a list of what you hear.
2.	ELABORATE on how you feel about each. Choose a response to what your critic tells you,
3.	IGNORE the negative.
4.	RE-AFFIRM the positive daily... to 'reprogram' yourself to take your “critic's” suggestions.

Although this idea is in no way new, the Law of Attraction has change the lives of millions of people in amazing ways. The basics are simple, you attract what you think.

So Listen, Elaborate, Ignore, and Re-affirm...

Choosing to challenge your 'little voices', and change your negative thinking will have an impact on every aspect of your life, creating positive habits that even your worst inner critic won't bring down.

The human mind is the most incredible computer you can imagine. Although the scientists are still debating as to the exact location of the “mind”, lets agree it is somewhere in the brain.

Our brain is composed of some 14 trillion brain cells! According to the scientists, humans use less than 10% of these cells and thus less than 10% of their mental capability. Most use even less - probably using closer to 1%. The good news is our potential is virtually unlimited.

For our purposes, imagine that the brain is in two parts: the Conscious mind and the Subconscious (or Inner) mind. The conscious mind does all our day to day thinking, our communication with others and general thoughts each day of our lives. Do you realize that you are thinking at the rate of about 1,200 words a minute?

The Subconscious mind looks after all our involuntary functions: the beating of our hearts, the breathing of our lungs. It also has stored in it every single experience and every thought we have ever made from the moment we were born. Some people believe that it also contains all the memories of our past lives as well. As it contains memories of everything that has ever happened, we can use it to locate information we need. For instance, you may be walking down the street and suddenly bump into someone you haven't seen for a long while. Whilst talking, you are frantically thinking of their name, and suddenly it will come to you, hopefully whilst you are still in conversation!

When it is something that occurred many years ago, your subconscious mind may have to spend a long time locating the necessary information. That is why we can sometimes have a challenge when we go to bed. In the morning the answer will suddenly pop into our heads.

Admittedly, it doesn't work exactly the way we want it to. Although our brain is perfect; It remembers and files away everything. Sometimes our recall is faulty. When something is “on the tip of our tongue”, our brain is searching for the answer. The “search” may take longer than you want it to. The best way to handle this is to temporarily “forget” what you want to remember. Your mind will continue to search and soon it will “come back to you” whilst you are thinking about something completely different. When you are constantly absent-minded, you may consider taking a memory training course or additional personal coaching to increase your focus and capabilities.

There is a third part of our mind also. This is the Super-Conscious mind. Hardly anything is known about it, and this is where everything really important happens. Ideas come from here. So does creativity, and ESP. (Extra Sensory Perception) When you come up with a good idea, it comes directly from your Super-Conscious mind, through your Sub-Conscious mind to your Conscious mind, and it is then up to you to act upon it.

Your Super-Conscious mind is your creative force, and is the most important part of your mind. It contains all the answers to anything you may ever want to know. Writers, artists, composers, inventors, clairvoyants, and all sorts of other people use this part of their mind. Their inspiration for what they create comes from their ability to “tap” into this section of their mind.

A composer may start on a melody and then, all of a sudden, the rest of the tune just comes with no apparent effort on his part. It has all come from directly from the Super-Conscious mind. Your Super-Conscious mind contains all the information of the universe and you have access to it whenever you want. All you have to do is ask.

You have already used it many, many times. Say, for instance, that you have a major challenge that has to be resolved the following day. You worry about it and think about it, and find it hard to get to sleep as it is still bothering you. When you wake up the following morning, the answer suddenly pops into your head. “Eureka” you cry and you happily go and solve the challenge. Where did the answer come from? You did not have it when you fell asleep. It was not in your Conscious mind, nor was it in your Sub-Conscious.

What happened was, while you were asleep, the Sub-conscious contacted the Super-Conscious mind and asked for the answer. Next time you have a challenge of this sort, tell your Sub-Conscious mind about it and say that you need an answer by a certain time.

Overnight is fine, and two days would be better. Don't tell it how you want the problem resolved. Just ask for the answer and confidently expect it to come. Ask again several times during the time limit you have set, and your Super-Conscious mind will solve your challenge.

Start utilizing your Super-Conscious mind more often and tap into the fullest potential of your mind and your fullest potential.

How do you use your creative power within to achieve your goals, create wealth, health or happiness in life ?

One effective way to do is to use visualization. Tony Robbins said, ’what you visualize, you energize!’ and that’s true.

Your creative visualization power will motivate you toward your goal.

Creative visualization is the technique of using your imagination to create what you want in your life. Creative visualization activates your subconscious mind power to really attract what you desire into reality. Visualization activates the law of attraction to work for you.

Imagination is the ability to create an idea or mental picture in your mind. In creative visualization, you use your imagination to create a clear image of something you desire to manifest.

Continue to focus on the idea or picture regularly, giving it positive energy until it becomes real…in other words, until you actually achieve what you have been visualizing.

Your mental images of the things you ardently desire must be in minute details and clear. That is the secret of effective visualization.

Follow this 6 step process below on how to do creative mental visualization that get the result you want for your success, health, wealth, to make more money, enjoy a loving relationship or any other goal you have set .

1. Choose a quiet, peaceful and comfortable surrounding. Sit or lie down.

2. Relax yourself. This is very important for your visualization to get a positive result! Breathe slowly and deeply to reach a relaxed state. Your mind should be quiet and calm.

3. Now, mentally visualize the actions you have to perform in order to achieve your goals. Be as detailed as possible. Visualize yourself already in possession of your goals! This is the true secret an act of faith in what you so desired.

4. Use all your senses: taste, touch, hearing, sight, smell and even feeling to associate with what you have to do in your mental picture.

5. Say with conviction you can achieve these goals by working on your practical plan of action. Use positive self-affirmations that you can achieve it. Your self affirmations or self-talks do effect your subconscious mind and tap its power to achieve your goal.

6. Practice it daily. This visualization exercise may take only five minutes and it can do wonders in motivating yourself to perform with excellence and enthusiasm. Fix a suitable time and place to practice it daily. The most ideal periods are just before you sleep at night and just after you wake up in the morning.

Apply this effective creative visualization technique to achieve all the goals you have set for life. Creative visualization works when you really put it into daily practice to achieve success for life!
