Think for a second about one of you most vivid memories from when you were a child. Do you see it clearly? Can you feel the emotions you felt then?
Now think of what you had for dinner on July 12th. Were you able to come up with that one easily?
How is it that you can remember a memory from a time in your life so many years ago like it was yesterday and are unable to recall what you ate 3 weeks ago? It is because of the emotion – whether good or bad – attached to the vivid memory you are able to recall it from so long ago.
As a business owner, creating this type of emotion is what attracts leads, converts them into customers and finally turns them into raving fans who help promote your business without selling it. What a powerful concept to connect with people emotionally.
Think about how you connect with your prospects?
How can you up the emotional buy-in?
What pieces are important to them when choosing who they want to work with?
How can you position yourself to be the best option for them?
These are some of the initial questions to answer and put the answers into practice to create a lasting bond with your customers. Are you ready to start creating this for your prospects?

Have you ever gotten a new software or app and when you went to open it up received the message that it wouldn’t run on the computer or device you were looking to use it on? This is usually because the device doesn’t have the correct hardware or software to run the latest programs. So what do you do? That’s right, you need to update to keep up with the newest technology.
The same thing happens in your life. Even when you have been successful, the game is changing at a faster and faster pace. The only way to maintain the success is to keep innovating.
This means multiple types of opportunities. It could be new marketing ideas, different product solutions for your customers to meet their needs, new markets to expand into, new niches to enter, better methods to service your clients, improved customer service.
One of the challenges for many entrepreneurs is they are too involved and in the middle of the business – it can be hard to see some of the ways to innovate.
Attending training events, industry conferences,working with a coach or mentor, reading voraciously, networking within your industry and outside of it, masterminding with other business owners and outside consulting are all ways to pick up new ideas and fresh eyes on your business. Pick at least two of these to be doing at any one time. Then keep on adding new options to your innovation mix.
Staying on top is a continual innovation process. The best are always adding new pieces to stay where they are. What are you going to do to step up your business and your life to the next level? Make sure you are upgrading constantly to avoid the old technology scrap heap.
